Bridlington Holiday Let ("we", "us") is a holiday letting business in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

When you book or contact us we collect your name, email address, phone number, booking details and any notes you give us. If you create an account we also store your login details. Card payments are handled by Stripe - we never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To manage your booking and stay, take payment, send booking emails and reminders, answer your enquiries, keep our legal and tax records, and - only if you opt in - send you offers and news. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Performing our contract with you; our legal obligations; our legitimate interests in running and securing the business; and your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. With your consent we may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Sharing

We share data only with providers who help us run the business (payment processing, email, hosting) and where the law requires. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes (normally up to seven years). Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Signed-in guests can export or delete their account from "My account". You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
